Paola Calvo

PAOLA CALVO

Paola Calvo was born on the 22nd of May 1981 in Venezuela. She finished 2005 her studies of Audiovisual Communication at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid with Master Degree. Her interest in the image as a powerful way of storytelling, brought her to study photography and film edition. She began 2006 her study of Cinematography at the German Film and Television Academy in Berlin Dffb, where she focused on documentary filmmaking, as a director and as a cinematographer. She is now working on her final project, „Schwelle“ (WT) a meditative documentary portraying a group of people in the search for their own boundaries.
